Getting Started

Before starting your search, take a personal inventory and make a list of your personal attributes, academic record, talents, work experience and affiliations. Do the same for your parents - this will help you in your search.

Where to begin Your Search:

  • Your high school guidance office and/or their website.
  • The financial planning office at YTI Career Institute.
  • Parent Eligibility: scholarships may be offered through their prior military service, employer, union, trade association, etc.
  • Student Eligibility: scholarships may be offered through your previous or current jobs, clubs, ancestry, religion, etc.
  • The Internet. There are several great websites specifically designed to assist you in finding scholarships:

Altrusa International of South Central PA
Scholarship program for those enrolled or aspiring to enroll in a post-secondary education program. Residence status in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, or York county required. Contact the Educational Funding department for more information.

American Culinary Federation Education Foundation

Imagine America Foundation
The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) has been serving the career college community since 1982 and provides high school scholarships for graduating seniors, scholarships for adults and grants for military. James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program
Availability/Requirements: The foundation awards several scholarships based on such factors as grade point average, extracurricular activities including work experience, letters of recommendation, and financial need. Visit jamesbeard.org/scholarships for more information.

Lancaster County Foundation Scholarship
Availability/Requirements: Individual must be a resident of Lancaster County with a GPA of 2.5. Visit https://www.lancfound.org/grants/ for more information.

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Scholarship

RevPart's STEM Scholarship

ASA NORTHEAST is pleased to present their Annual Industry Scholarship Program. The scholarships are designed to assist ASA members in the region and/or students currently enrolled in, or with plans to enroll in, accredited higher-education institutions. The Clifford H. The PHCC Educational Foundation
Attracting new talent is essential to the future of the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) industry. The PHCC Educational Foundation and its industry partners are teaming up to identify and aid students pursuing a career in the p-h-c industry. The purpose of the scholarship program is to help students prepare for careers in the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Eligibility Criteria includes: A full-time certificate or degree program at an accredited two-year community college, technical college, or trade school, with a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Approved majors are: Business management; Mechanical CAD design; construction management with a specialty in mechanical construction; and plumbing or HVACR installation, service and repair.
