YTI Career Institute (YTI) offers a Medical Billing and Coding program that can be completed 100% online through the Lancaster, PA campus. The program can be completed in as few as 10 months and graduates earn a diploma. Within the program, students prepare to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam which is administered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), or another coding certification exam of their choice.
While there are different technical careers within the medical field, there are some that appear similar to others. This includes a medical administration job and medical billing and coding. However, there are significant differences between the two.
