The Beacon Scholarship at YTI Career Institute (YTI), is open to individuals in their senior year of high school who plan to enroll in YTI Career Institute’s Lancaster or York campuses between July 1 and November 1 following their graduation. Candidates must submit the application, an essay which discusses “Where do you see yourself in five years, and how will an education from YTI Career institute help you get there,” as well as complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Scholarships will be awarded by the YTI Scholarship Committee which consists of the Campus Director of Operations and Management (CDOE) and Assistant Director of Admissions and any other staff or faculty appointed to serve on the committee. Scholarships may be in full, half, or quarter tuition awards, and no Beacon Scholarship can be transferred to any other institution or individual and cannot be redeemed for cash.

All recipients must maintain a “C” average and Satisfactory Academic Progress (as defined in the school catalog) and the scholarship will be cancelled if the student is placed on academic, conduct, of financial probation.
