Flexibility and variety are two benefits of a career in the HVACR industry. YTI Career Institute's HVACR program intensively covers the service, installation and repair of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Students will develop an understanding of the electrical and mechanical principles related to gas and oil heating units, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. This rapidly expanding field provides new job opportunities in both light commercial and residential environments.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS
There are no state-based licensing requirements in Pennsylvania for general HVACR work. Certain counties, townships or cities may have their own requirements, so students are encouraged to research regulations in the areas they intend to work. Refer to the state licensing board for more information on requirements in commercial HVACR.
Students have the opportunity to earn their EPA Section 608A and OSHA 30 certification.

Delivery of Hybrid Instruction

- Campus Lab Hours Evening Program: 5pm - 9pm
- 2-3 Lab sessions per week, based on course needs
Online Learning
- Students will need approximately 25-30 hours per week for instruction, labs, activities, reading assignments, and homework
- All materials are accessible in an asynchronous format 24 hours a day/7 days a week
- First week includes acclimation to the systems
