How you can carve your own career path through career training
Does the idea of going to a two-year or four-year institution not fit with your post-high school plans? Are you more interested in taking part in an engaging and practical trade school program that will excite you? If so, YTI Career Institute might be the place for you.
We believe in the value of immersive hands-on learning, and we incorporate that into each of our trade school programs. Many of our programs offer a unique learning experience that can't be easily at other institutions.
Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts
Whether it's a passion for creating beautiful and delicious pastries, or managing a restaurant and sharpening your culinary skills, the Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts has programs for you.
Our Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management and Pastry Arts programs have produced top talent who have gone on to becoming head chefs, owners of restaurants and specialized pastry chefs. Our students are well-trained, due to the well-qualified instructors we have and practical learning they receive at our on-site industry-modeled kitchen. Our unique programs allow students to tap into their passion and love for food, as well as learn about business and leadership skills.
Criminal Justice & First Response
Are you motivated by justice, safety and making a difference in people's lives? Our Criminal Justice and First Response program educates you on collection and analysis of evidence at a crime scene, testifying in court, and providing top-notch security at correctional facilities. With this career path, you can pursue employment in a variety of positions.
Our hands-on training prepares students for what to expect on the job. Basic life support treatments, electronic surveillance report writing and staying composed during high-stress situations just scratches the surface of what our criminal justice and first response students cover during their time at YTI.
Your love for animals and the desire to help them live happier and healthier lives is a passion that you can transform into a promising career at YTI. Our Veterinary Technician students master subjects and skills including animal anatomy and physiology, nutrition, breeding, husbandry, sanitation, behavior, handling, nursing, euthanasia, and necropsy for various animal species.
Students' classroom learning is then taken on-site at locations where they practice techniques and skills with a variety of animals, including large ones, like horses and cows. We provide our students with great instructors and facilities that can ensure they receive all the knowledge they need for their future careers.
