Career HVACR Students Gain Real World Experience

As part of YTI Career Institute's Career HVACR program, students may participate in ride-a-longs and class trips where they can gain real world experience. During a recent class trip, the students performed some troubleshooting at a local business. They discovered holes in the heat exchanger which could have been emitting carbon monoxide into the air supply. Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas which is slightly lighter than air and is highly toxic to humans. The business was grateful the problem was found and fixed it promptly.

Career HVACR is a 12 month diploma program that provides career training in industrial applications, light commercial and residential environments. YTI provides hands-on training using real equipment in a well equipped shop.
